A Note From Christella
Nathalie qualified with a Masters in Speech and Language Therapy from City University in 2016 following an undergraduate degree in Russian Literature at Oxford University, which she obtained in 2005. Before her speech therapy training, she worked in Moscow and London in different areas including English teaching, journalism artist management. Since becoming a speech therapist, she has worked with children and adults with speech, language and voice difficulties. Nathalie has worked for over 5 years in the NHS as Speech and Language Therapist at Epsom Hospital, initially working with patients with swallowing and communication difficulties on the acute stroke and medical wards, and then becoming a highly specialist voice therapist. She currently focuses on the following areas:
- Voice disorders
- Paediatric language difficulties
- Speech sound difficulties
- Accent modification
- Communication skills
- LSVTⓇ (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) for Parkinson’s disease
Nathalie is trilingual and attended the French Lycée in London and in Moscow. She has always been very musical and sings in choirs. She has played the piano from a young age and has taught it in the past.
Nathalie has attended both Antoni Method courses Vital Voice and Working with Transgender Voice. As a member of Christella’s selected team Nathalie is trained to deliver her voice modification programs and receives regular supervision from Christella.
